A far better perfomance was seen on Wednesday night, with us coming away with a 1-1 draw. I have a feeling this might have been our final game unless the manager of Penwortham, our next and final opponents, comes out from under the bed and lets me and another two team managers know if he can get a team together.
We are having a Ribble committee meeting next Wednesday, and I am sure the agenda will cover the end of season presentation night...I will let you have details asap. I will then be asking for Players player and Parents player nominations.
Myself and Paul are now looking towards next season and are keen to know how many of the lads will be staying with us. As we move to a 9-a-side league, we do not really anymore players as it stands, however, should we lose any that will obviously change. The only difference is that we are seeking a new 'keeper as Cameron has indicated that he no longer wishes to play in goal. Also, if a player asks to come along and is worth taking into the club, then we will consider it. However, our main focus is to continue with the lads that have been with us for the past two seasons.
